• We design Fire Alarm Systems to fit any purpose, whether that be commercial or residential, wired or wireless solutions. 

• To keep your system operating as it should, we recommend annual service and maintenance is carried out, this means we attend annually to check the system is working as per the British Standards (BS5839-1), this will allow for faults to be addressed in a timely manner so the system works correctly when its needed.

• We install, repair, replace and service Emergency Lighting as per BS5266-1 

• Emergency Lighting is lighting that activates in event of the loss of mains power in the building. These lights are normally placed among escape routes & hazardous errors  This will allow people to evacuate the building safely.

• Emergency lights come in all different types and styles to match the décor of the building.

• Functional operation should be checked at least every month 

• Testing for full rated duration (3hr test) should be performed on each luminaire at least annually

We can install, commission and service Fire Extinguishers as per BS 5306 3  

It is important for you to consider many aspects when deciding which fire extinguisher best suits your workplace or any given area, we at Dmasonengineer can advise you on what you require.

• Water fire extinguishers are the most common and work as follows: by removing heat from the fire.
• Powder Extinguishers  cuts off the oxygen fuelling the fire by smothering the fire.
• Carbon dioxide extinguishers both smother the fire and, as the CO2 cools, they remove the heat from the fire.

Different types of fire extinguishers are suitable for different types of fire. 

We can service Smoke Vent Systems as per BS 7346-8. 

Smoke vents (also known as AOVs or "automatic opening vents") will be installed throughout a building to protect escape stairs or any common areas, such as corridors. In the event of a fire, smoke or heat detectors will activate the vents to open, allowing smoke to rise up and out of the building. 

We can also repair Smoke Vent systems, actuators can fail which causes the vent to stay shut or the Fire Alarm triggers and the Smoke Vent fails to open, we can fault find to locate the issue.

We offer Weekly & Monthly testing services, this is a short test to ensure your Fire Alarm & Emergency Lighting responds as it should in event of an Emergency, this method allows us to quickly identify any potential issues with the system that may arise in between annual service visits.

Call outs are a also a vital part of what we do, we understand you need a company you can call upon in case of an Emergency. An extreme but common example would be the Fire Alarm has been triggered, sounders are ringing and the client is unable to silence the panel. In this event, we aim to get someone on site as soon as possible.  Call and/or Email us and we will aim get someone over to rectify this as soon as possible.
